The table below is a guide to explain the volume of water from your shower to the thickness required of the electrical cable. For example if your old shower is 9Kw and you replace it with a 10.5Kw you will have to replace your electrical cable from your fuse board to your shower because your old electrical shower cable would be only 6mm thick where your 10.5Kw shower will require 10mm size.
